I hate religion to the point where I'm not even an Atheist and, it makes my blood boil to think that my 11 yr old grandson has to be indoctrinated with juvenile gobbledegook because the vatican owns the National School which he attends. In 2008 I remember him telling me that, included in the 'morning prayers', was a plea to god to end the recession by christmas. God must have been getting a 'ride' at the time because, the request wasn't granted.
This, unfortunately, indicates the collective mentality of the majority of the population of vatican occupied Ireland. This same mentality causes financial crooks to see a picture which includes candy and a baby.
Someone once said; "It's a great pity that stupidity isn't painful".
