What's another €33 million down the drain

After spending 14 years and €33m Fingal County Council, in their wisdom, have decided that their 'planned' superdump is now cancelled .
Unfortunately, this foolishness is typical of how things are done in Ireland in general and, until we put people in Public/Civil Service jobs who are well qualified and who have to show results, nothing will ever change. Our recent history is littered with such examples and, it's still going on.
No one knows where a good portion of around €4 million went after some 'fiddling' between the HSE and Siptu (Services Industrial Professional and Technical Union).
